In accordance with the Law on the Provision of Services in Tourism, the service provider announces
Terms of business
Tourist service trade Plat, based in Hvar, Kroz Burak 61 (service provider) organizes one-day trips from the town of Hvar to the Pakleni islands by motor boat “Joan”
.Departure at 11.00 from the port of Hvar in front of the hotel Riva, return to the port of Hvar at 17.30.
The trip consists of a panoramic boat ride and sightseeing of the Pakleni islands and swimming in the clear sea of beautiful bays.
There are three stops on the Pakleni islands:
MLINI bay (30 min.) Swimming from the boat,
PALMIŽANA (3.00 hours) island sightseeing, swimming, lunch,
KLEMENT (1.00 am) sightseeing, swimming
LUNCH: Roasted mackerel (or roasted chicken), salad (cabbage, tomato), bread, white wine, carbonated juice.
PRICE of a trip to the Pakleni islands without lunch: 35 EUR (263,70 HRK)
PRICE of a trip to the Pakleni islands with lunch: 45 EUR (339,05 HRK)
The fixed conversion rate is 1 EUR = 7.53450 HRK
Children up to 5 years. – free
Children from 6 years. up to 11 years – 50% discount.
Reservation and payment
Reservation requests are received electronically (e-mail, whatsaap, sms), by phone or in person on board. The reservation is considered confirmed after the deposit has been paid or the ticket has been paid in full. When making a reservation, the passenger confirms that he is familiar with these General Terms and Conditions. In this way, all of the above becomes a legal obligation for the passenger and for the service provider.
The right of the service provider to change and cancel
The service provider has the right to change the departure time or cancel the booked service if extraordinary circumstances occur before or during the provision of the service that cannot be avoided or eliminated. The service provider then offers the passenger a replacement term or refunds the amount paid in full. Passengers cannot claim any other costs.
The passenger’s right to change and cancel
After the reservation is confirmed, in case of cancellation by the guest, the amount paid for the ticket can be refunded no later than 48 hours before departure. The ticket can be transferred to another person only for the booked trip time.
Obligations of the service provider
It is the duty of the service provider to take care of the implementation of the service, as well as the rights and interests of passengers in accordance with the customs in tourism. During the excursion, at each landing the master of the ship or a member of the crew will inform the passengers where they are and when the departure from that location is. The service provider is not obliged to wait for the passenger if the passenger does not board the ship by the scheduled departure time.
The passenger is obliged to:
– have the correct travel documents
– follow the instructions of the ship’s captain during the excursion and cooperate with the crew in good faith
-return to the ship at the agreed time for departure from each individual stop during the trip
Complaints and refunds
If the service is not fully performed or the passenger is not satisfied with the service provided, he must immediately contact the master of the ship in order to find a satisfactory solution or replacement. All refund requests must be submitted in writing, via email to email@example.com within 7 days of the end of the trip. The passenger is entitled to a refund in the amount of the real value of the services not provided, while the maximum possible refund upon complaint may amount to the full price of the trip.
All possible disputes come under the jurisdiction of the Court in Stari Grad on Hvar.
Disclaimer and Terms of Service
The service provider provides a boat transport service in compliance with all legal obligations under the laws of the Republic of Croatia. Also, within its capabilities, the service provider will do everything to make the stay of passengers on board safe and comfortable. However, the service provider does not take responsibility for any inconvenience caused by the behavior and negligence of the passenger.
The service provider does not take any responsibility for any inconveniences, injuries and the like that may be caused by the negligence of the service user. By purchasing a ticket, all participants confirm that they are in good health and that they can take part in a boat trip.
All passengers on board are insured with compulsory insurance of passengers in public transport against the consequences of an accident.
All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and full responsibility for them is assumed by the parents or guardians during their stay on board.
We recommend that all non-swimmers wear life jackets that are secured while driving.
All passengers are OBLIGATORY to follow the instructions of the crew and the captain of the ship during their stay on board. The decision of the ship’s captain is final.
By purchasing a ticket, guests confirm that they are familiar with these Terms of Service and disclaimer and accept them as undisputed.
NOTICE ON THE MANNER OF SUBMITTING A WRITTEN COMPLAINT OF THE CONSUMER
In accordance with Art. 10 para. 3 of the Consumer Protection Act (Official Gazette 41/14), we inform consumers that they can file a complaint expressing their dissatisfaction with the purchased product or service in writing on the motor boat “JOAN” and they will be acknowledged in writing without delay. Complaints can also be submitted by mail to the address:

We will respond to the consumer’s written complaint in writing no later than 15 days from the date of receipt of the complaint, so please provide us with your contact address for delivery of the response.
